Cantelupe

The Cantelupe Club is our Artisan section and is named after Viscount Cantelupe who was the 7th Earl De Warr's son. Artisan golf was first played on Ashdown Forest in 1889 with the Cantelupe Club established by local artisans in 1892, membership has been very popular ever since.

Today Cantelupe members enjoy access to both the Old and West courses in return for work on the course.
